Privacy Policy

Framely (“the app”, “we”) is an iOS app that turns your screenshots into polished mockups. Framely is private by design: your images are edited entirely on your device, and we do not operate servers that receive or store your content. We do not collect any data from this app.

What the app accesses

• Photos and videos you choose. You pick individual items through the system photo picker, so the app never gains access to your whole library. Everything you import is edited on your device.
• Saving to Photos. When you export a mockup, the app asks for add-only permission — it can write the finished image or video to your library, and cannot read what is already there.
• Content you share into Framely. Sharing an image or video from another app hands that file to Framely’s share extension, which stores it in the app’s own private storage on your device so you can edit it. Nothing is transmitted anywhere.
• Background images. The app can fetch stock background photos from Unsplash. Those requests carry only the image identifier needed to load and credit the photo, never anything about you, and are handled under Unsplash’s own privacy policy.

Purchases

Framely offers optional subscriptions and gem packs. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store — we never see or receive your payment details. Your gem balance and subscription status are kept on your device and, for subscriptions, verified with Apple.

Restore purchases

Tapping “Restore Purchases” asks the App Store to re-check what you have already bought under your Apple ID. That exchange happens directly between your device and Apple through StoreKit — Framely only receives the list of products you own so it can unlock them again. We never see your Apple ID, email, or payment method, and nothing about the restore is sent to us or to any third party. No account or sign-in is required.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Framely sends only local notifications — for example, letting you know an item you shared was saved and is ready to edit. There is no push server and no device token leaves your phone.

What we do not collect

• No account, sign-in, or profile is required to use Framely.
• We do not collect names, emails, contacts, or location data.
• The app contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
• We do not sell or share personal data with third parties.

Data storage

Your projects, edits, and settings are stored locally on your device and are removed when you delete the app. Exported mockups are saved wherever you choose — your Photos library, or any destination you pick from the share sheet.

Information Apple provides to us

As with any App Store app, Apple gives developers aggregated reports about downloads, sales, and crashes. These reports are statistical and do not identify individual users.

Children’s privacy

Framely is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
